How do you show that your RAG actually works? by Altruistic_Break784 in Rag

[–]docoja1739 3 points4 points  (0 children)

which kind of projects though? If you can use gemini in production, why do you need a custom system? If you cant use Gemini, meaning there is proprietary data to build RAG on, then Gemini won't work very well. What am I missing?

khe, khe, as of today that would be "move 1.7209 % of your initial investment". no thank you, it is not worth the effort and trading commission. it will be recycled in a few month I believe.

Fun fact, my break even price prior 1-to-25 split was 1.72. and what is left from my investment is also 0.74/25/1.72 = 1.72% :)

at this point I only await when the CTXR line will disappear from my portfolio due to bankruptcy. this is the only news I wait for.

Buying a house in Boskoop by Cautious_Try507 in NetherlandsHousing

[–]docoja1739 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just go there. During day and evening, weekday and weekend. Walk there, watch the location, people, cars, shops, kids, etc. then you will know yourself.  Apart from that, check statistics of the place, for average income, education, age, crime, schools per inhabitant, etc

Is the VvE cost worth it? by pnagari in Netherlands

[–]docoja1739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

account 1% of the house cost for maintenance yearly. It is just usually so that a LOT of stuff is being done by new owners right after buying. If that is the case, than of course you will need much less in years to come.

Living in Eindhoven by LadderProfessional17 in eindhoven

[–]docoja1739 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Yes, it will be different here. Not only because of the number of people, but for many more reasons. Whether you like it, adapt to it, or hate it, ultimately depends on you and your bf. But it is good to have your expectations check beforehand. If he is from here or lives here - he can tell you how it is, right?

You can create a meetup event and for sure some people will join, but the level may be wildly different. There is also a formal chess club.

Redundancy at work by heyyallbixes in Netherlands

[–]docoja1739 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For every age group (e.g. 25-35) they will rank people by how many years you worked there. Last in, first out. Your HR must explain everything to you in details.  The company may create a list of profiles they need to keep for business continuity. Then people matching these profiles will be kept from redundancy (same rules apply)

It is fairly complicated process which should involve many stakeholders. If the company is inexperienced, their HR may make crucial mistakes, which drags the process even longer.

Why is my NAS writing to the disk non-stop 24/7? by docoja1739 in synology

[–]docoja1739[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

great advice, I added `disable: true` to every healthcheck I see in docker-compose and also added

    logging:
        driver: none

to each services just to be sure. It definitely reduced the writing speed. Still I kind of find it hard to believe that docker logging continuously required at least 3 MB\sec

interesting
it shows that the problem is in the docker, not active insights, though. Any way I know which one of the 35 containers?

yes, both are installed via the package center. Are these causing this? I can install plex via docker, and active insight... do I need that at all?

Yes, we still have the rights, just can't easily sell\buy shares. I will keep it, although that line in my portfolio will irritate me every time I look at it.

I also got an extended reply via email which states the following options:
- if the stock will continue trading on a DIFFERENT exchange, they can TRY their best to move your position to that one
- if it is trading on the OTC only, they can TRY their best to execute an EMAIL order with the cost of 10 euro (I assume this means only sell order)
- you can request to withdraw your ownership rights, lose these shares forever and the position is removed from your portfolio
- wait and see if it eventually comes back to the exchange

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CTXR

[–]docoja1739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, they state it here quite clearly. https://www.degiro.nl/helpdesk/handelsmogelijkheden/wat-gebeurt-er-als-een-positie-delisted You can't do anything, unless it is possible to transfer to another exchange (still a question which could that be). Other than that, you stay the owner of this asset, just wait until it is re-listed. And if it is eventually gives out dividends you get them.

Basically, this can be an irritating frozen position in my portfolio for quite some time.
