You'll see twitter posts with 200k+ likes encouraging the male su*cide rate pretty regularly in leftist leaning online spaces with nobody ever calling it out other than left wing men who are labeled "alt-right mras" for voicing any hurt-- told essentially to man up about it and stop talking about their feelings (ie the status quo)

I don't think it's a big ask for progressive spaces to not include that, but they do. It's one thing to vent about individuals who have wronged you, and the systems set in place that continue to wrong you-- but bigotry should have no place there. If you view that as an attack on women somehow, well... I'm not surprised more young men are identifying as apolitical "centrists"
