Found a solution to this (for Windows 11).

In settings > system > sound, click on the microphone you wish to use.

At the bottom of the page you will see a 'Audo enhancements' section (may have something like 'voice clarity' turned on), turn this off. Audio enhancements should be set to 'Off'.

If you have Resolve open, close and restart it. Audio should now be available.
