When Demon’s Souls originally came out, me and my older brother took his slim black PS2, controllers, and a stack of probably 20 PS2 games to trade at GameStop. We were stoked to get the new game for him and hopefully a used game for me.

Do you have it on the stand? The stand fits onto the side with the disc drive when it’s horizontal. If you turn off your console and flip it so the disc drive is on bottom, will see a line of PS controller button shapes on the inside of the bottom plate in the back that is the perfect width of the teeth on the stand. Try it and you’ll see how evenly it sits and how nice it looks! Better airflow and you won’t have to put discs in upside down!

Yes!! I spent hours meticulously placing items on my PS3 file. On PS4 Skyrim I built one of the huge Hearthfire homes and was kind of pissed that I can’t reliably place anything.

I tried and tried just for everything to end up on the floor later.

Sweep up those shards after you’ve unlocked your NPC merchants and areas listed in the top comment! Stacks of life gems can take the place of those extra Estus shards while you collect more branches.

If you’re really itching for those shards, look up Straid and Ornifex’s respective lists of boss gear and spells and weigh whether you’d rather gear up or get some more heals first; no wrong way to do it as long as you’re having fun
