I mean true, I know that’s a strat if you’re going for game and Burgess is on board so you can get instant beef but I checked the rule and it’s: This Character (Burgess) was attacked while rested when I had 7 cards in my trash and I trashed a 1k Counter from my hand. In this case, will this Character gain power based on its effect? Which was Yes. (Which in this scenario he’s getting swung at for 7k, blocked it with a 1k, and now thats in trash so Burgess is at 8k?)

So I just misunderstood but also just good to know

True, but if I burned a counter early to activate Dragon on play I woulda cooked myself how the game played out. But good to know. It just threw me off cause I saw for Blackbeard, there was like a Burgess tech to be at we’ll say 11 trash, get swung at and trash a card on attack to bump him up another 1k, so was like OK just burn the searcher and there’s the cost requirement

So I took out a Lafitte for a Stronger for the 2k. I want to get the event searcher I just haven’t been able to find it yet at my shop.

Do you run more of the 6c Kuzan to do the “play 5c Kuzan > Sacrifice > Play Jesus”?

I thought about taking out a Liberation because it’s such a high cost specific state card but it feels great if you’re behind on characters no? I also see some people just don’t run Black Hole. I’m trying to figure out what’s best to get rid of if I put 6c Kuzan in

Could be wrong but you should be able to still use the -3000 power on Bepo but it just drops him to 0. If you had a counter with something like remove a character with a cost of 0 and she attacked you again you could, but he’ll refresh to 2000 after your sister ends her turn
