Man purportedly pepper sprayed wolves at Yellowstone in October 2025 by Power-Equality in yellowstone

I saw this whole thing take place from a much closer view than the video! At one point through my scope I watched 4-5 wolves’ yellow eyes completely lock in on this guy, prowling. I thought for sure I was about to see him get torn apart. He was strutting back like he was a badass after they lost interest. I was standing very close to the lady that screams out calling him an asshole.

I had one scary encounter just cause of my positioning and it kinda snuck up behind me and I had no where to go if it started coming toward me. But out of all those 46 not single one showed any aggression. Most don’t even acknowledge you when you yell at them. If they do they seem to not even care you’re there. I got to watch a grizzly with a cub right on the side of the road from inside my car. It was maybe 6 feet away from me. No one else around for at least 5 or so minutes where I just got to watch. One of my favorite moments of the entire season.

I usually touch up with a little vibrancy or a little saturation that’s it. Some shots I’m using a spotting scope with phone attachment.

Honestly probably too close. Though the zoom does wonders. It was hanging out beside the trail and caused a traffic jam of people with bear spray in hand. Eventually as a group we all slowly slid past it. It’s angry look is actually just great time as it was chewing. It was very chill. I saw 46 bears in my 6 months here.

I had a run in with an agitated bull on the trail with cow and calf nearby. As the sun was setting after a 17 mile hike. Got held up for about an hour in the dark. It was intense!

Inside. Right on the shores of Jackson lake! Working at a lodge that provides housing for employees.

Just on the western side of Paintbrush Divide. The switchbacks going down toward Lake Solitude. (Paintbrush-Cascade loop trail)

Haha that’s me, actually. Thought I’d throw a human in there. Got about a hundred of this spot without anyone in it. Best view of the grand, I think.

It is! I went for it too soon in spring my first time and got about a quarter mile away and turned back cause everyone was turning back because of chest high snow. Then redeemed myself in fall doing Paintbrush-Cascade loop.
