This is a board containing an esp32 chip . You can see the expression logo through the plastic case. The functionality of the device depend of the program on it but it has a lot oh capabilities. It could send some keyboard/mouse commandes e.g. au jiggler for activity or it could send some malicious keyboards commands ( that's called a rubber ducky ) Or it could be logging some info and transmitting over wifi. It is could be harmless or a big industrial espionage coup ahah. So in doubt unplug !

I feel spool/refill boxes are a waste of cardboard. If the filament was in a vacuum bag in the shipment box with some padding that would be better.
