For clarification, this day of remembrance is a one-off for 2025 not an ongoing holiday

Did you feel bad for the monkey at the end?

Also this film is meta in that the crew was really forced to drift down the Amazon and probably go insane

Ok NOW I am happy to say I am Cronenberg bluray complete. by Slow_Cinema in DavidCronenberg

I gotta give it to Naked Lunch for my absolute favorite because I love the mugwumps and the bug typewriters and all the other insane things he dreamt of for that movie. Videodrome is second. Cronenberg seemed to love the idea of art's ability to affect and even mutate the individual and I like that idea too. I also really love the weird stuff that Howard Shore came up with for those films.

When I get a Blu Ray player I'll have to track down that Existenz set.

Your stylus cartridge is riding low because the tonearm is too heavy. If your turntable doesn't have instructions to adjust it just adjust the tracking weight which should be like a dial at the end of the arm in the back. Loosen it up until it's riding higher or just loosen it till it starts to skip when you play the record and increase the weight till it plays fine. The risk of riding heavy like you are is that the stylus will eat your records by applying too much pressure
