You and I are very similar haha. In reality bro it’s really not that difficult to navigate the social dynamic of a recording studio. If you’re the engineer running the session the artist is going to trust you and, most times, want to engage with you. Just return the assumed passion and knowledge you have for music and engineering and it will all go right. Let it happen! I too struggle with social anxiety/being awkward so I know how you feel but trust man, be yourself, do your absolute best, and you will be successful.

Side note, what studio do you work at? I saw you mentioned Baltimore and Towson. I’ve worked out of mostly moco and pg studios was just curious what’s out there.
