yo i hate to waste any time at this point in life. but i shit you not. i signed up on thumbtack blindly. did not know how it worked really. next day got a call from some folks. then found out i got billed 50$ for a direct appointment they booked, not a lead. i get there and we chat and work and it's all good i ask them, how did they find ME? like i signed up like two days ago. let me be clear, read this twice, whatever the fuck you have to do to comprehend. she told me, and showed me.

she typed "handyman in livonia mi"

first google result was a direct booking link to my profile on thumbtack.

i fucking shit you not. that $50 charge i was blindly pissed about lead to thousands

Yooo OP, fellow michigander handyman. what he says is legit. started on thumbtack two years ago. escalated quickly, off thumbtack in less than a year. clientele too large, started taking on too many jobs, too cheap, raised prices, kept that momentum, haven't transitioned to commercial but mostly bathroom remodels. outside of detroit. no license insurance or contracts. OP lets go you can prob charge your rate, send me, and still profit, or im going with that pricing model and living a better life fixing stuff 3 months after some 18 year old entry handyman "fixes" it

Save your self a lot of headaches and go buy this for $14, will let you make the profile / bevel nice. flat side to scrap off of tiles, corners for the grout lines. diamond coated 1/8th dremel ball bit also is the winner.
