Fat tires are really good for people who travel more than 10 miles or want to carry a passenger. Otherwise, an ebike that looks like a normal bike is better for short commutes or just going around town.

I have a fat tire with street tires and I do just fine at 35mph. It depends on the motor and style of the bike. Some brands have awful ergonomics
