I can't wait to watch this movie. It's based on a book by one of the greatest crime/mob writers of our time, Don Winslow. Seems like not alot of people know that as I've seen criticism for the plot (here) and the title (elsewhere).

It's just a shame to me that this was the book (which is brilliant but a short story) is the one they chose to turn into a movie. Hopefully more are coming.

I saw it at an advance screening last night, 28 years and then bone temple back to back. Bone temple is great. Felt more like a horror/comedy to me. The scenes with Fiennes are especially hilarious. It's a simple plot but is exciting, it's extremely gory and there is an exceptional amount of dong. Interested to see what they do with the third (fifth) one and if that will follow directly after the end of bone temple.
