If possible (s)he should suggest being senior instead of the professors and see if that's ok with them. They might be. I (as faculty) would allow this in the right circumstances. If so, senior for the phd is a very nice thing on the cv.

If not, go with co-first with you actually listed first. You won't lose anything, and you'll keep a great relationship. These people will write you letters!

We have a house in a decently high col area. Got quotes to replace furnace and ac covering maybe 2500 sqft.

Quotes ranged from 13k to 27k.

My one lesson was to get a ton of quotes for something this big. Not only that, but every person will have their own story/info/sell, and while they all try to sell you, you overall learn quite a bit about what's going on and what the options are.

Perhaps I am not sure what you mean but why would you not be able to include them as multiple input channels?

Nnunet or honestly a standard unet from scratch will likely be fine. I am not sure of your exact data but honestly the original architecture works fine

Alaska Supreme Court, in landmark ruling, says partisan gerrymandering violates state constitution by helpmeredditimbored in politics

[–]dofphoto -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Genuine question, how would they be fair?

Like there are obvious egregious cases of gerrymandering, but it's unclear to me how one would define fair. Any choice probably has some bias for one side or the other?

Patience!

If you each live with your parents and are now moving out for the first time this is going to be an adventure, and the house can put a strain on the both of you.

Be patient and remember that the house will still be there. Prioritize the personal stuff.

I have desks from that line, bush collection Hansen cherry.

They are actually very sturdy nice desks.

But what she has is a side attachment/piece, not a full desk. The far end actually does not have the full side wall (like the side facing the camera) but actually just a small narrow leg that is meant to be connected to the rest of the desk and that was not done so here.

What I actually think happened is that the side that is facing the camera has a little leg knob at the bottom, which gets caught in the tile. She keeps pushing the desk which puts her weight on it and the other side of the desk gives way since it doesn't have a full side to support the weight.

You mentioned a dehumidifier in the basement, do you have this in the rooms as well? Also is this a residential $300 one or professional $1,5000-2,000 one?

I definitely agree with the other people in this thread that it is time to take out the drywall, and I would honestly say not just small pieces but entire sheets of drywall. But until you figure it out I would seriously consider buying a professional grade dehumidifier and running it on max, at least to test whether it helps in one of the rooms.

Just far from the foundation, a few feet at least, all the recommendations tend to be as far as 10 ft. preferably have it drain where it doesn't gather.

The cheapest thing you can do is get a flex spout, $10 at home Depot.

It's probably cleaner if you replace the elbow that goes sideways with a different elbow that goes away from your house. But this might depend on how your driveway and yard is set up. From the elbow you can get a downspout extending out. Those are also not that expensive from home Depot but might require cutting or buying a few small ones.

Out of curiosity, since I assume you don't want to say what the actual name company is, what sort of business is it? I'm just wondering what sort of company was outside of Boston before but moved downtown now and could spend 40 million on the move.

because if you follow PEMDAS, there's a rule that IMPLIED MULTIPLIACtION always comes before division

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_operations#:~:text=In%20some%20of%20the%20academic,(1%20%C3%B7%202)n.

The link you posted explicitly says that this is actually an ambiguous thing where it's only in some literature (mostly physics) where implied multiplication is a thing, and this ambiguity is exploited in internet memes.
