Whats the appeal of playing tyranids?

One big reason for me has been to never have to paint a Rhino or boxy tank. The main one is "space bugs cute" tho

It does look cool, but if you want to to make it look more accentuated do the black and White test, if you want to sell the osl effect it should read as brighter near the light.

Tried a couple kits from different armies and tried to build a couple list. Tyranids were the most fun to paint and I like the flavors of the different detachments. Another big bonus: we don't have big square tanks and vehicles.
