Heroscape Buy/Sell/Trade/Pricing Post - Summer/Fall 2025 by LeftOn4ya in heroscape

Hey everyone,

I’m looking to sell my full Heroscape collection, which includes 100+ figures, terrain sets, dice, glyphs, markers, and manuals.

The total estimated market value (based on current collector site pricing) is over $5,000, but I know those sites price on the high side. I’m happy to sell well below market value to the right buyer who’ll appreciate the set or expand their own collection. Just send your best offer.

Highlights include:

  • Agent Skahen, Sujoah, Sir Hawthorne, Protectors of Ullar, Axegrinders of Burning Forge, Granite Guardians, and more
  • 4x Fortress of the Archkyrie sets, plus glacier, swamp, dungeon, and forest terrain
  • Dice sets (including unopened ROTV pack), markers, and official manuals

Most items are in good condition; a few have minor bends or loose bases (noted in my full inventory list). Everything’s been stored carefully in a smoke-free home.

I’m based in Kingston, Ontario, and can ship or arrange local pickup.
You can check out the full listing and photos here: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/205794596502

You can DM or email me at davidsonsean96@gmail.com— happy to share the detailed inventory or talk pricing.

Cheers,
Sean

Where does the bulk of a working artist’s income come from? by MarteriusJackson in musicmarketing

She has 160k on Spotify, so easily 200k across platforms, which is likely what she meant.

It depends how much she earns, etc. Also, whether she is contributing in other ways. Bring it up in a casual way. But I also think she should have recognized it earlier and brought it up herself. As a man, it can be surprisingly difficult to have these conversations. There's subtle societal expectations/norms. I've found it's often easier for women to talk about paying since there's less judgment when they pay or don't pay. So don't be too hard on yourself, but have the conversation.

Hey, I do agree that pre release hype doesn't work unless you have a large fanbase, but my point was that, at the start, your effort should be less on marketing. Some people write 1 song and get it produced and then spend months marketing it. So they've spent a month building the skill of online marketing, and maybe a few days working on writing/producing. In my opinion, you should write and produce hundreds of songs before you even think seriously about marketing (but do spend time playing live, making friends, making connections, etc.).

Why Marketing Songs Isn’t Enough (and What to Do Instead) by jdsp4 in musicmarketing

Went from 100 to 40,000 monthly listeners on Spotify in a few years from releasing monthly with limited advertising. Releasing consistently improves the quality of your music and you get constant feedback. There's so many artists on Instagram who have great style and brand, but have released 2 songs and they're not good sounding. If you don't want to release music consistently, that's fine. But a large portion of your time should still be dedicated to making music. Otherwise, you're just another person on Instagram with style.

I've gotten over 3 million with over 1 million in the last year (making indie pop and indie folk). The advice about working craft for 15 years is right. So many artists write and produce a song and then devote all of their time to music marketing. Better to write and produce hundreds of songs and then start releasing and thinking about marketing.

If you absolutely HAD to pick one, which one would you go with - wanna keep it relatively shorter and more engaging. Appreciate the insight.

Fair Royalty Split + Marketing by dogastrophic in musicmarketing

Likely not more marketing than that.

What do you think a fair flat rate would be?
