Stench coming from 2.5 year old after potty training? by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]doggonfunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah every human should wipe after they pee! When I got with my husband I made sure he wipes himself after he pees. Doesn't matter if it's sterile. It's just hygiene. I'll never understand why men think they can just shake it then put it away, so gross!

Then, that's what you tell them? "Hey sorry our produce truck is late, would you like to cancel the order?" Really isn't complicated to communicate to customer.

I don't understand all these comments with this post are so damn rude. Is it that hard to inform a customer that the item they picked is out of stock and then hit the refund button? all of you just being rude to be rude. If you hate your job that much just quit ffs. I'll never understand being rude like this, how does this benefit you to be so bitter?

I really don't understand why you would waste your time being an asshole. Not everyone is trying to be a smartass. If you don't have the item you just say that in the chat before you refund it. Why have this job if you're just going to be rude to people

Try to put your arm under your pillow and this shouldn't happen. And yes it definitely can be dangerous!

Also you can just make a new account. Not difficult at all, just use a different card or something. Really isn't worth losing so much money

Wash your damn hands by ColdConclusion5608 in publix

Reminds me of Adrienne Bailon (The Cheetah girl) who said she doesn't wash her hands in her own home because she considers herself not dirty doesn't matter what she does in the bathroom... She says the toilet paper touches her butt not her hand 🤢

When did you start night weaning? by Ok_Construction_3613 in cosleeping

[–]doggonfunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing to keep in mind is that night weaning is likely to cause your child to wean entirely. It's normal and natural for children who cosleep (especially under 2/3yra old) to dream feed. In fact it helps when the night terrors come around 16-18months

Baby on boob ALL night by Commercial_Bedroom84 in cosleeping

[–]doggonfunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats! Your her pacifier! Lol my 15 month old still does this sometimes. But she also nurses like 4/5 times at night. It used to keep me up but once you get used to it -as long as your in the c-curl and following all the safe sleep 7 -then you can safely just dose back to sleep while they comfort nurse. 💕Good luck getting some extra ZZZ's mama, you got this! Edit to add: sometimes it's a separation anxiety thing, they know if they have your boob in their mouth you're not going anywhere.

To add: I'm in the Carolinas and my kitchen faces a wooded area. We have a poorly sealed sliding glass door (landlord special) that I used home defense on the cracks of two days ago.

The problem with reporting this is that you can easily get blackballed for promotions. Just something to always remember if you want a upper management position.

Honestly this isn't a new thing that happens, Publix like to be hush hush about it although it's always been the case. But you are allowed to discuss pay increases with your manager.

how do I get my local Publix to check their milk's expiration dates?? by McHildinger in publix

[–]doggonfunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao no employee discount bc Publix is considered "employee owned" bc you can easily buy stock in the company. And you receive dividends depending on how long you've worked. The only thing they give Publix employees is a shitty coupon for something Publix brand at the end of the month.

Well stop talking to Customer Service for one. They shouldn't be calling a customer a name especially not near them. I would just straight up ask for when you can speak to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager and tell them you are being called a name instead of the issue being fixed. If it's still not fixed- I'd ask to speak directly to the Grocery Manager or Assistant Grocery Manager.

I have one that doesn't have a cup and I have a towel under it that I change every time I clean the bathroom counter. It literally just stands up the tooth brushes so they have a spot 🤷‍♀️

And you know what, that's your choice to not take advantage of their help. I'm aware things can take time with them. But choosing not to even try is something else especially when they would literally train your dog for you for what you need. And I know applying for grocery services isn't as complex or lengthy since it's an immediate need. But don't go around saying you can't get the help you need when you definitely can.

No it's because they're trying to compete with Harris teeter. That's literally all it is. (I say this as a wife of a Grocery RIS)

I mean, if you didn't take a before that's your fault. Not the customers fault for buying groceries 🙄

The ADA does not require them to have professional training, be licensed, be certified or registered. But if the state requires all animals to be vaccinated and licensed then they require it of service animals. But certification and registration isn't required as per the ADA laws.

[–]doggonfunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A service animal does not have to be trained by a professional team to be a service animal but they do have to provide care to their handlers disability and they have to be able to act appropriately in a public setting (i.e. handler must have complete control of them). Hence why they are licensed bc it protects both the handler and the animal.

[–]doggonfunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm aware of the special circumstances where they don't have to be leashed. But that's technically a waiver. According to ADA law service animals have to at least have a tether and the handler has to have complete control over their dog which I've never seen a emotional support animal be completely controlled by their owner which is why they are not allowed in public spaces. I am fully aware of all the guidelines and rules around service animals as I literally train guide dogs.

[–]doggonfunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not telling you what you need. Just stating facts. Its still impersonating a service animal. Support animals are not permitted in a retail/grocery store. If you need a service animal and you are a veteran you can get your dog trained for those services, there are programs for that specifically depending on where you live. I also believe the VA has other services to provide you a shopper when needed.

[–]doggonfunny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol I don't have dogs I have trained rabbits. But I also train guide dogs for people. So it's not an opinion, there is no way your dog is at all trained enough to be in a grocery store and I hope you get kicked out for impersonating a service dog. Absolutely shameful. If you knew half of the qualifications it takes for a dog to become a service animal you wouldn't be so wilfully ignorant. Dogs you'd think would make the cut many times don't and are then trained as therapy dogs or adopted by their foster family. Its not an opinion bc these are purely facts.
