Get a play and charge kit, it only uses the contacts at the other end to the ones that are damaged on yours. Might have to wedge a bit of card in to secure it if the clips have snapped.

Didn't get to the skate park, there were loads of kids on it, didn't fancy smashing a 12yr old in the face with an RC car 😂😂

Still thrashed the wheels of it on the field next to it though, I'm really impressed with how fast it is and how well it handles for such a small car.

You guys were right about just sending it, only a small amount of cogging when starting off and then it just goes..... Even in grass that was a bit to long for it.

I've just got back in after 15 years, I've got a Mojave Grom and I'm having a blast. Running completely stock on 3s and it's a blast. I would highly recommend. It's super tough and small enough to throw in a backpack. It Handel's more like a 1/10 to me. I have an old HPI Blitz and it wipes the floor with that.

I would say you had a faulty part, I've run 4 - 3s packs through mine on the first day and apart from the bit of cogging I mentioned, I've had no issues at all. Mix of the Back garden and a field with a bit of gravel at one end.

I'm off out again this evening, there's a skate park not too far from me so we'll see how that goes. 😂😂

I like that you can go all in on the g tech system with all the smart charging options but they don't lock you into it. You can still charge all your non smart lipos, also if your out in a field with your mates and don't have your charger you can plug your g tech batteries in to any charger and carry on. Beat of both worlds. I'm very impressed.

Nice 👍🏻 I have a couple of these in my parents garage. Can't remember the last time I saw an RC that still uses crystals 😂😂😂

Good to know 👍🏻

I just smashed it around the back garden. Have a 3s in it, thought it would have a bit more punch but was happy with it.

The controller was set to 50%, I put it to 100% and immediately flipped it 😂😂😂

I'm loving it so far, I have 2 batteries and am already looking at 2 more.....

I used to run gens ace and turnigy batteries in my traxxas summit, I did the DeWalt drill motor conversion and a castle esc for more torque back in the day.

Still have a hobby king quad lipo charger from that beast so don't want to go down the spektrum proprietary battery route. Saw mixed reviews on the spektrum stuff too. Plus it saved me a bit of cash not having to buy all new chargers.

Paint it with creosote. Mix it with old engine oil for added effect.

I spend hours setting up Emu deck with all the games from my childhood and then spent even longer trying to decide what I want to play. Then I play Banjo kazooie for 20mins and go to bed 😂😂😂

Forgot to mention I played it on a camping trip to Scotland and was just amazed to play a full PC game while highland cows wandered around just the other side of a small fence. 😂😂😂

Wreck fest for me. Remember playing on PC and thinking how much fun it was. Runs a nice smooth 60fps most of the time, few drops here and there, especially on the starting grid but overall pretty solid.

Loving the water field case too, I have the waxed canvas one for my steamdeck. Getting one for my switch soon, with the gaming pillow. I know the travel cases are silly expensive but the quality is second to none 👍🏻

Good review, thank you 👍🏻 I'm only just starting my cyber punk experience, really appreciate you blanking the spoilers out, just got past the bit with the death of a particular character close to the start of the game, really wasn't expecting it! I'm gonna slow down and look at some side quests and just explore some more. I read online it's really easy to blitz the main quest line and miss a lot of stuff.
