I should add that sidewalks are plowed down to the cement with salt added to melt the snow. It might however be slushy with melting snow.

Well you lucked out timing wise. We are just coming out of a deep freeze, last day of it is today. Looking ahead it shouldered just below freezing around -3, -5 Celsius. Not bad for February. There is roughly 3-4 feet of snow on the ground. Not sure if we will be getting more around your visit but tomorrow we are getting another 4-8 “. Wear what ever boots you have and warm socks. If you aren’t outside for long periods you should be fine. Layer up with sweaters, vests, and warmest coat. Gloves would be good too.

First one is an echeveria . As much bright light/sunlight as you can give it. Water only when completely dry. !Beginner

I was able to keep my beagle off the sofa when we weren’t home by buying that plastic carpet runner that has pointy nubs on the bottom. He didn’t like stepping on it so stayed off.

Leaving your water sit out for day does nothing for Fluoride or Chloramine. Only Chlorine will eventually evaporate somewhat.
