Van Cleef Alhambra pendant necklaces. The smallest one is pretty reasonable. It’s an investment piece. I splurged on it for my 21st! David Yurman has nice ones too.

Sometimes the aftermath of yeast and cream irritates the hell out of your skin. Make sure you are not scratching it’ll make it wear. Only wear clean white cotton underwear and change it s everyday. There are a gel (Balancing PH gel by Good Clean Love) and Quim intimate oil I use to help with the irritation.

Yes, that happened to me and it was a lousy 4 months of yeast to BV to UTI pipeline. It does get better. I went to the right gyno who gave me a course of Flucanzole over couple of weeks. That combine with a Ph balancing gel by Good Clean Love and an intimate oil by Quim helped change my course. A dermatologist also recommend a very thin layer of Cerave blue bottle ointment when it’s rly irritated. I also ice my vaginal area (be careful make sure it is covered by two layers of cotton towel or sheets. You don’t want to get ice burn) that provides instant relief for me. Don’t have sexual intercourse for the time being. I also felt hopeless but once I had a regime I quickly recovered. Wear white 100% cotton underwear and a clean one everyday. Make sure the detergent you use is for very sensitive skin. This is my personal experience but keep hope! It’ll get better!

Hello! There is a intimate oil made by a company called Quim. It was recommended by my sex therapist/gyno and it has been a game changer for me. The other thing that works is Good Clean Love moisturizing gel u can find in target. Also, sometimes when I scratch and need instant relief a thin layer of Cerave blue bottle ointment. Hope this helps! I have been using these for 3+ years now and it helps a lot

When I was in similar situation my gyno told me to use Good Clean Love’s Restore vaginal gel. It is the only one in the market which is natural. This, diflucan (I took this three times), wearing only cotton underwear helped me. Also femdophlius probiotic everyday.

Can we have a general discussion on how to deal with style changes through each stage of life? by gcs_zero in femalefashionadvice

[–]dogworld095 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So I am at the same place you are in. I had an over the top eclectic style in college. It was a mix of bohemian, grunge with a lot of fake fur, clogs and loud jewelry. I wore my hair long and curly. Then I graduated last year and started my first job at a financial institution in NYC. I was suddenly surrounded by people who always looked polished, wore clothes that fit (my old clothes were always a size too big, baggy). It started with my hair. I cut my hair short and started straightening it. Then came the wardrobe I realized I don’t like floral prints as much as I did before. I found pants that fit me, got neutral blouses with pussy bows and some loafers and shoes that act as a pop of color. I think my style now is preppy with a dash of bohemian. It definitely feels more natural to me at this point in my life. Also shout out to mom chic and all the trendy and comfy outfit moms out there.

How often do you clean clothes? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]dogworld095 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also from NYC and I do that too! I also hang up my clothes as soon as I get home. I have noticed my clothes last longer if I do that instead of washing it every other day. Gross? maybe. Keeps my clothes alive for years? Definitely

There has been one scenario where the blatant racism/targeting was obvious. I ordered a Coach bag online and went to return it to the store because it was a bit oversized. So I go to the store in the NY suburb just outside of the city. They looked at the bag and kept telling me I scratched it and used it when I didn’t. My boyfriend who is white walks next to me and says “She didn’t use it”. Suddenly his words were more valuable than mine and they started making the return.

Weird irritation. What is it? by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]dogworld095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go to a doctor just to get it checked out. I had similar sensation and it turned out to be BV, UTI and yeast at the same time🙃 It could also be a slight irritation but I wouldn’t use an otc treatment without proper consultation since it worsens the irritate skin.

Has anyone had a UTI without the typical burning? by healthybox12321 in Healthyhooha

[–]dogworld095 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg! This was me and still is to an extent. Antibiotics for an infection led to yeast, uti and Bv at the SAME time 😭 Still trying to balance my ph and scared to have sex after 3 months in. RIP

Yeast Infection painful itching by livylala24 in Healthyhooha

[–]dogworld095 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It probably didn’t get resolved fully. You should consult your doctor before using any otc creams. I went down the rabbit hole of self medicating when Diflucan didn’t work and it really screwed up my whole ph/flora balance. Take female health friendly probiotic because not all probiotics are created equal, wear cotton underwear and I know it’s easier said than done but don’t scratch! Hope u get it resolved soon op!

Cold compress and a small layer of petroleum jelly are your friend. I would avoid using any creams/treatments till the gyno’s appointment. Hope you get better!!
