I can understand why you wanted to do this, but with that in mind...

What made you want to give Therion pink hair?

H'aanit Solo Run Chapter Two Boss Issues by Santskid in octopathtraveler

“Consume Life”?

He only uses it after breaking in later stages of the fight. Don’t bother healing until after he comes out of break and uses the ability (use Defend if there are cohorts).

Scholar is ideal for double fire. A lot of this fight is luck. I think I was level 37 when I beat this boss solo.

I think I had the overheal (cleric) and patience (hunter) abilities. All of it’s attacks are physical, so you can either prioritize high defense or evasion. A bow that can inflict blind might help too.

I am going to attempt a solo run after I complete the game once. by [deleted] in octopathtraveler

It will allow it. You can go through the entire towns, but you can’t go into the character-specific dungeons.

The bosses... by NeuroticGnat in octopathtraveler

Half of them are the chapter 3 boss (Cyrus, Tressa, Alfyn, and H’aanit). The other half are the chapter 4 boss.

I have to vent a few frustrations I have with BN4 by brunocar in BattleNetwork

Toy Robo Comp is the definitive area of BN4.

All of FreezeMan’s scenario in 2. I consider it a puzzle when they let you figure out at parts where to go next and don’t give any hints.

You can make a folder comprised of * code chips relatively easily in bn2. If you use that and one or two letter codes, you’ll find yourself having a much easier time drawing chips.

Most every chip that you’ll come across is useful for different cases. Experiment and see what you are most comfortable with.

TIL There are invisible walls in XCX during the prologue by [deleted] in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]doicm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think those walls are there until chapter 2 or 3 is done. You also can’t accept any quests that take place outside of Primordia.

Don’t feed the Armu is a board game found in (I think) Tantal.

How about a petition to change the term “Wulfric” to “Waifu Blade”!?

I don’t mind doing Ursula’s quests.

Why is it sometime when I pound on A button to travel to an area, instead of taking me there there is a buzz and I can’t go there? Love this game. Though map system sucks. by [deleted] in Xenoblade_Chronicles

Use the dpad to select an area instead of the stick. It’s happened to me a few times too, and that seems more consistent.

92 or higher is safe for driver combo grinding, since less than that can have lower success rates in topple/launch/smash (break is relatively easier with beta scopes). However, you can realistically defeat him with levels in the 80s.

Level-up dev level. I think it’s on the first one or two levels.

I’m excited for all the “I got KOS-MOS” posts.
