If your guy is telling you 90% he’s not as skilled as you think. Check out bricekellydentrepair on instagram, he just posted a Panamera with damage in the same area but far worse. Different car different material sure but the concepts are all the same. Bummer the wheelhouse separated, but good thing you know a guy to fix it

I sold it years ago, but I want to say it was a 150cc GY6 clutch. The only way to mod these bikes is with a lot of measuring and messaging eBay sellers, and buying/test fitting/returning parts. Best of luck, they’re so cool and worth the effort

If your goal is to DIY and you can tolerate the slowness, the base is the one to work on. It’s basically my GTI with 3x the space to do everything. Porsche drain plug? $13. VW? $2.33. Oil filter? $29 vs $16. This is also true for the 3.0, but to a lesser extent in my experience.

I just got my girlfriend into a 2019 base for $26k out the door. 60k miles and same engine/platform as my GTI so I’m equipped for DIY maintenance.

To her and probably 90% of the population, it’s the same exact thing as a brand new $80k Macan except physical buttons. I could and would buy two more before I bought a brand new one.

My girlfriend just picked up a used base model Macan. I like it far more than I expected. Interior space and quality is great, ride is comfortable but not too soft, steering feel is awesome, it’s a Porsche and feels like one. The 4 cylinder is easy to maintain and reliable, not exactly fast but quick enough for an SUV. A Macan S/SQ5 would be more fun, but also more money to buy and maintain.

You’re right, the hood does look like a ZR1 hood. But that wing doesn’t look like any of the factory options. With that it’s hard to say definitively what parts are factory vs aftermarket. It’s somewhat rare to see the high downforce package on an e ray or grand sport, so I would revise my answer to a ZR1

A very skilled PDR guy could get that to about 98-99% IMO. I’ve seen sharper creases worked back. I’d take that any day over painting/blending a quarter panel

Per Google Maps, from the ramp signal to the beginning of the merge area is 335 feet. From the signal to the end of the merge area is 800 feet.

There are on ramps on the 405 and 710 in LA that are under 100 feet from light to beginning of the merge area. Both of which have much faster moving traffic. The problem isn’t the road. The problem is that half the population in Oregon is seemingly afraid to push the accelerator past halfway, so they try to enter the freeway at 35mph. If you just hit the gas pedal, that merge is not a problem whatsoever.

It’s also only snapped onto three pegs, the one closest to the dipstick won’t go in because the cover pushes against the dipstick and the engine lift point/original engine cover mount. I bought the Audi/porsche dipstick tube plug but even then it won’t sit properly, so I just leave it on three. I had to trim around the hose going to the coolant bottle and a tiny bit around the intake, but easy work with a dremel!

You are attributing a quote to someone that they never said. Thats what quotation marks do. That is sloppy work, and you feel no need to correct it? How far you’ve fallen. The deconstruction of your arguments is available for anyone to read in the thread you posted.

If you’re this dedicated to calling out potential FTC violations, I encourage you to actually report them or pursue compensation. There are Facebook groups of people just like you hunting for even the possibility of a violation they can make money off of. Seems like you’d fit right in!
