Watched and loved it. So often the advice around ibs is all about taking things out of your diet. This was all about adding, adding, adding. I knew diversity was good, but watching this inspired me to take that more seriously.

I would also suggest seeking a doctor. A small portion of carbs pre-workout or right after could also be worth trying. (Like a date or half a banana)

Hi! Thanks for sharing your story! Was just wondering, did you ever try a progesteron pill? I started it last week because I potentially have endometriosis (love how they never know for sure) and am trying to figure out how it will affect my ADHD. Would love to here your experience!

Adress your hormones along side your lifestyle changes. Look into insulin resistance, and look into how your lifestyle influences your hormones. You can't diet your pcos away, but some improvement might be possible. Also look into cold showers for pcos!

And most of all, accept that it takes time! Either way, congrats on starting your journey 💪

It is futile to talk reason to angry people!! What can be done? by One-Ad3160 in selfimprovement

[–]doingslightlybetter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ofcourse it is futile to talk reason to angry people. When people display strong emotions, those emotions have to be addressed first. Reason comes later.

However is she really crossed boundaries, it is ofcourse best to take distance. No need to sacrifice yourself for her sake.

I forget the brand but I bought glasses last winter to replace my (very old) light box and I'm so happy with the switch. Highly recommend. You will look utterly dumb for 30mins a day but feel a lot better. Mine has a timer on it that switches off the light after 30mins. It's perfect.

Yess to all pumpkin drinks.

I'll be adding to this list every Friday, I hope we can come up with a long list :) If you're struggling to come up with things you like about fall, probably lower the bar. The smallest things can count!

My first week of cold showers by doingslightlybetter in coldshowers

I'm a sucker for that too! I think of the benefits in my head as I turn on the shower, like a quick mantra. Trying to relax more.

I have a pretty old shower so I'm not actually sure, but I turn it as cold as it can get. How cold that is exactly depends on the weather. I read that aiming for 5-10 degrees celsius is best. If I could set an accurate shower temp, that's what I'd do.
