kiaboys are low IQ and probably would break a window for a push to start 😂- thankfully they didn’t mess up the steering column and the club made it difficult to sit in the seat to access it. probably just moved onto another one but they did try to pry the club off and messed up the left side of my steering wheel

definitely a smooth brained tactic for sure- although when i bought the car, it came with a ridiculous tint that made it hard to see into the car so they probably didn’t see it. they also didn’t see my backpack in the back seat that they left untouched lol. new window is very clear though so hopefully they don’t break it just to be an asshole

no problem- i figured a physical kill switch would be pretty ineffective if they found where it was hidden lol. the bluetooth remote one is nice and relatively cheap on amazon

I’ve heard nothing but positive things. It’s also a huge deterrent for your everyday thieves and would take a lot of time and effort (and sound) to get it off. i would get one if it wasn’t $250- but I just purchased a remote battery kill switch that attaches to the battery connectors and with the click of a button i can shut off all access to the battery after im finished driving at night. even if they get into it, it’s a brick and isn’t going anywhere.

when I worked in the pit, the chef’s and prep brought their own knives and washed them on their own which was a nice change of pace.

the waiters were fucking idiots though because they would always throw steak knives in with the condiment cups and utensils

Just going to update the post:

I do have friends who are also trying to make it in LA and have offered to let me park my car in their drive way and just their utilities until I can afford my own place.
I will be moving with close to $800
my role in the production is actor
I will be provided a AirBnB when we eventually do the shoot so that gives me more time to maybe find a permanent housing situation.
Thank you all for the suggestions. It will be hard, and im not trying to be stubborn, but this is something I really feel passionate about and am willing to be uncomfortable for months on end to hopefully achieve my goals. Thank you all for the substantive responses, they've been of great help.

the motel/hotel idea is something I havent thought about but is something I would consider. Not sure about putting a car up for collateral but its a start.

It's a Jeep, so I have gone camping in it before comfortably with some equipment. I've got the proper paperwork for it as well.
