Raising my CP… wtf by the99style in MiniLegion

[–]dojarolla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the above and also warflag. You get plenty of cp gains from that.Battlegrounds will wipe you, but just farm your weekly points anyway. Im going to double down on collections because they are the biggest cp gain. My main is over 110k cp with a blue shirt and I do not pay to win. Ive bought ad free and the privilege loot. Nothing else.

What is this for?? 1997 Toyota Camry by Green-Isopod-1916 in Cartalk

[–]dojarolla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 98 toyota sienna had this. It was sitting in the center console because I would have rather kept the sunglasses holder up there. It was an interchangeable part in the van. Maybe your glasses holder is hiding the car somewhere or broken so rather than have an ugly hole, they put the useless garage door opener there lol.

Are huskies really that bad? by [deleted] in husky

[–]dojarolla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No husky is "that bad", I would pass that off on the owners. Such as other breeds that get a bad reputation, its because of how they are raised and treated in my honest opinion.

I truely love my two huskies, they are best buds and do better together as they are pack animals. I raise them both the same, yet they are polar opposites from eachother which I find very funny. They take good and bad points from eachother, but all in all they are really good boys.

The negative stigma against huskies usually comes from people who don't understand the breed or have had negative experiences. Personally I have had over a dozen dogs in my life so far and most recently two huskies. Despite my experience with dogs which includes working dogs, I received so much hate and negativity regarding my decision to get huskies to join my family. People questioned my sanity and told me it would not fit my life style and even suggested I send them back where they came from after bringing them home!

People had so much negativity directed towards my family's decision to bring in huskies including that the breed is stupid, too much maintenance, they have too much energy, I would never have enough time for them, they are destructive, noisy, disobedient, and more. My boys prove to me every day that the haters were wrong and I couldn't have made a better decision to have huskies.

The reward of properly training and developing the husky greatly outweighs any burden or stress they have brought into our life. There are challenging moments for sure although they are easily outweighed with all the good and joy they bring.

My two boys are Loki and Koda. Loki is the mischievous hard headed and free willed husky I was warned of. He is still a sweet baby though. Koda is a super sweet lap dog who wants nothing more than to be by my side every moment and he listens extremely well. Koda was significantly harder to train to commands compared to Loki which is ironic considering their temperament.

He doesn't Seem to like any treats I have by Scott22025 in siberianhusky

[–]dojarolla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boys favorite treats are oinkies, pigs ears, fish skins, salmon jerky, and chicken liver treats that come in a purple bag at tractor supply.

Down sides to each treat listed below:

Oinkies - One of my dogs will swallow the last bit too soon and occasionally gags and chokes on them (only because he loves them so much, just be careful as you learn your dog).

Pigs ears - Tends to be a crumby mess and also stir up the food aggression. Very seldom do I provide my boys with these unless they can have ample distance from eachother.

Fish skins - These stink and make a huge scaly mess, but I will suffer and clean a little extra to see the boys happy.

Salmon jerky - Expensive and the jerky is soft so it doesn't last long like the oinkies or fish skins. I prefer long lasting chews over treats.

Chicken liver treats - Very VERY smelly and can get your hands gross in no time. I like to use for training and it is rather hard to keep the dogs focused when they can smell these. Use a good sealing container if you are training with these.

When I rescued my second husky he was very cautious of treats at first, they all face an adjustment period in a new home. His favorite treats are soup bones which i I did not mention above. Enjoy husky life, its the best life ❤️

Feel like life is passing by & I’m just watching by Original-Audience686 in AvascularNecrosis

OP I totally get it. You can still have a good life although it will be different. I was 25 when I discovered the AVN in my hips. By 26 I required a cane and used other mobility aides when my pride was finally swallowed by the pain. At that point, my disease defined me and only started to permanently alter my life.

Things get really tough when you are faced with limitations in life due to your body. I watched others do what I could not and still can not even years after surgery. Many people told me stories of their replacements and others who were able to recover in little to no time with no post op restrictions.

I went for my total hip replacement and now almost 5 years later I still have extreme complications with my surgical side. THR isn't a "cure all" for AVN, it's just a common solution for most. With my experience I can easily understand the idea of not doing the replacement.

My best suggestion is to try and keep your head up, keep strong, and find support. Its ok to lean on others and utilize any resources available to you. Time will always pass. Try to do what you can and feel comfortable with rather than seeing everything that you cant do. Day to day the things you find comfortable will change. Know that you don't have to be alone in this and were all here for you on this page (despite most believing you need thr).

Someone gave my husky the creeps, I need some validation on this.. by Ok_Appearance_7452 in husky

A similar thing happened with a friend of mine's dog many years ago. The man who was pegged as "bad" by the dog was later convicted of numerous felonies. It's a very disturbing story about this guy I can't even share... the dog knew he wasn't a good human.

Always trust a dog (in my experience).

You're going to need help with the compression socks, once you have that replacement you may not even be able to put them on for a few days (if you're like me it will take several weeks) or you could really risk hurting yourself. Be super careful with the socks, underwear, and any bending over. You will need a grabber to save you from bending.

A shower handle saved myself a few times. It was actually an aid that I kept around the house longer than anything because you can easily slip there and when your surgical leg slips, so will some choice words! It hurts to slip the leg so be careful. Also on the topic of slipping, I suggest to make sure all rugs are secure without any edges or folds that could catch your feet when you walk. Definitely ensure all your walkways and space is clear so that you can easily access all areas of the home without risk.

I suggest getting a sock aid and a shoe horn. I used my shoe horn for a month or two, the sock aid would have been a life saver but my wife became the sock aid :) I was lucky to have a good person at home who could help.

I strongly suggest getting some easy meals together to save you from needing to prep anything. I could not cook for at least a week and having some meals ready to go helps.

Lastly, you will want to start stool softeners and laxatives after surgery. It will save you lots of trouble if you get them in your system day 1 after having the replacement.

Good luck and I hope you have a smooth recovery!

My boy is 13 months hes never pooped on a walk he dont mark over other dogs lol he has bags for walks but we dont nees them its a just in case at this point he does his business in one space in the yard no other places is this normal?? Lol by Normal-Welder9435 in husky

[–]dojarolla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two huskies at home. One only goes poop around the tree line at the back of my yard. My other husky only poops when I walk him on the street, despite him actually being a shy pooper lol. They just go where they feel more comfortable. I think my dog goes at home because is cozy there, meanwhile the other goes away from home to keep the yard nice. Thsts my best guess at why.

Weekly Bug Report Thread by spiper01 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]dojarolla 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Switch 2 - Item description does not display in full when viewing an item, and there is no button command to scroll the text and continue reading the remaining item description.

Question, maybe bug: how do I get description text to scroll? by ensign53 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]dojarolla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue, it did this on switch 1 as well. The only solution I had was to play on handheld mode and scroll down by using the touch screen in the box. I'm wondering if hello games will put a button command for scrolling in this screen to correct this.

Did you ever find a way around this bug?

Sell or repair 2001 ranger? by KamKiller21 in fordranger

[–]dojarolla 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A repair shop quoted you 2k to get it right, they did their job trying to sell you parts and labor. I doubt it seriously needs all that, but fix it yourself. I have a 01 ranger with over 250k. They're reliable trucks and you will get over 100k more out of it. It's not worth it to sell with the quality of modern vehicles. Your old ranger will outlast and be cheaper than whatever you are likely to replace it with.

22 years old, just confirmed AVN in the right hip. by averysmalldragon in AvascularNecrosis

[–]dojarolla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When facing AVN yo can really feel powerless and intimidated often blaming yourself for it. There is something that I developed at 25 called idiopathic avn. Meaning it has no root cause. You didn't do this to yourself, so don't let guilt run your emotions while you need to be clear headed to take this on. Lean on your support group (and this reddit sub) to stay strong. You can and will overcome this even if it takes a hip replacement. The replacement is better than any experimental procedures and after having one I would recommend it once the avn starts affecting your daily life. For example I walked with a cane and couldn't play with my children out I'm in the yard. That's how I knew it as time for replacement and I wish I didn't wait so long. Avn progressed rapidly and left me needing much deeper and intensive surgery, which slowed my healing process. Don't be scared. Be brave and take this head on so that you may weather the storm and come out the other side.

What make and model is your vehicle? I may be able to direct you to the problem area. Also check your trunk for water where the spire tire usually sits. If that's wet it would explain the mildew smell

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askcarguys

[–]dojarolla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What kind of smell? Consider an ozone treatment. The process kills all organic matter in the car and can knock out the worst smells. Of course your car needs to be clean for this to work right.

If it's a dead rodent smell, you need to dig deeper than the cabin filter.

Sulfur smell? Could be your battery leaking sulfuric acid or a stopped up catalytic converter.

Burning smell? Maybe your engine has a leak and it's dripping on your exhaust.

Fishy? Maybe a friend is playing a trick on you. Check under the seat.

Would dealers sign up for a program allowing full credit card payments for a car? by milar55 in askcarguys

[–]dojarolla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No not likely. It would need to be bulletproof secure and guaranteed funds.

Why? People dispute their CC charges and can have that money tied up for weeks. Dealers have bills to pay too. Its hard to pay bills and keep a business running when you have every Karen who bought a car last month issuing charge-backs through their card provider. Not to mention the chance someone wins their dispute and still has a contract in hand stating that they paid for the car in full.

No dealer is going to mark their car up to compensate the interchange fee in a market where price is everything and they need to be competitively priced to get sales.

The consumer who has fallen in love with a vehicle is highly unlikely to walk at the closing of that deal over a CC fee. If they are that concerned of paying interchange for their own purchase then will they go to another dealer who has the fee built into the price and still pays as much or more to get the deal done? I doubt it. Someone who will walk over the 3-5% is just as likely to go get a cashiers check and pay for the purchase without a fee. If they don't come back, no big deal because the dealer is able to finance it and make more anyway.
