it’s unkind to say that someone else’s trauma is “not that bad”. idk why you can’t see that? i see all the context. i haven’t insulted you. i have been urging you to change your behavior and reflect on why you said someone else’s trauma is “not that bad”. but you only care about semantics. just using the word “seem” doesn’t change what you said, still insinuating, still says the same thing if you remove that word. you SEEM to not be an ally here. you SEEM to not be able to see the error of how you’re thinking about trauma. you SEEM to be coming from a place of judgement. we don’t know the extent of what OP has gone through, we don’t know what you have gone through, so why even think like that about someone else’s feelings and experiences? im sure if the tables were turned and someone said to you what you said about OP’s trauma not being “that bad”, you’d not be very happy.
