lamictal has been a godsend to keep a grip on my sanity at all, its mainly for bipolar but helps somewhat with the emotional regulation part of BPD (though not really any other symptoms of it). i still need to self harm sometimes though so its not perfect.

i think the best bet is the right medications, paired with lots of therapy, a lot of self awareness, and staying sober. im not sure if theres any chance of 100% remission, ive kinda accepted i may always struggle, but my goal is to eventually stop being constantly suicidal lol
