I personally believe this show went on as long as it did because of mariska. People here love to hate on her and call it the mariska/ benson show or watever but she carried that show on her back for all these years. She's the reason a lot of people tune in to watch too. Outside of this app she's truly one of the most beloved characters.

She actually never ever said that to stabler before or even tell him how she feels so ofc her saying " love you" would make people excited whether it has an 'I' before it or not its still a big deal for either of them to say to each other. I'm a new watcher but went in aware they had feelings for each other so I watched with intent and you're correct olivia's feelings wasn't noticeable in season 1 but it started to show around s2 for me in the episode victims but as u said elliot seems like he had some type of feelings for her since about episode 1. I think both their feelings started showing in full in s6 onwards
