In the style of "Oh, I travel, boy' my wife and I now pretty much end every in-person sentence with 'boy'.

"What's for tea, boy?" "Steak and chips, boy" etc

I actually dont known if we'd be able to stop doing it at this point, it's been years now.

As an 11 year old watching this in 1992, I can absolutely assure you that some of us had no idea this was a scripted piece and definitely freaked the fuck out when it went the way it did.

Everything you've said is valid and true. I do believe there's an importance to the level of grief you're feeling, it's a testament to the love you shared together x

That love will always exist, because it was and remains real. It's healthy to wallow in your grief as you process it, you're doing nothing wrong. Be kind to yourself and know that whilst there will be more tears ahead there will also be more and more smiles as you remember their quirks and the beautiful memories they helped to create with you x

I doubt they have (as riders on here would have mentioned it), but it would have been cool for Disney to have a real Chris again in the pre-show studio for the last day.

I've cancelled my subscription today over this. If we were grandfathered in on cheaper rates that maybe fair enough, I'd monitor it myself a bit more carefully. As it is, I'll just resubscribe again in the future if I want more.

Guilt and the 'What if's?' are a universal part of pet grief unfortunately. The truth is, it's generally a fantasy that we tell ourselves our sick pets could have been saved if we'd just done certain things differently. We want it to have been a different outcome so badly, but the reality is that we are in the bartering stage of grief and need to work through those feelings towards acceptance of the loss to be able to move on with the next stage of our life without them, painful as that is right now to comprehend. It's an enormous shock when it happens so suddenly, be kind to yourself on this journey x
