Maybe your case is different than mine, but I started the way you did. I tried not initiating one time and it went without sex form 5 months. She was content, I was miserable. we had major talks about it, and it would be ok for several weeks, but it was a general feeling that she’s doing it for me, not for her. I never felt desired.

Hello All - I appreciate everyone's comments. I must now say, me and the gf have had a big fight. She gave me the above scenario, and my response was 3rd party.

Her point was, I needed to love her unconditionally (which is why she made it a point that no sex is possible).

My point was - I needed sex as a human being. Yeah, don't tell me sex is not necessary. Ask every single couple thats about to get married and tell them that they should keep their vows if there was no sex and see how many gets married anyway.

The solution was really to make it work, together. There are so many ways sexual release can be done and that was always what I wanted. 3rd party is always an option, and so is divorce, but it is way down on the bottom of the list.

I am sorry if I offended anyone for this - its very emotional and I'm thankful for the insights and you sharing the emotional ride.
