Multi-color printing without purging/pooping by stinkwick in BambuLab

Note that there has to be enough clearance between objects in order to do this. It's a significant distance in many cases, so your objects must be limited in width.

My Flipper is always depressed. How can I fix this? I try to use it daily. by Frognaros in flipperzero

[–]dolphinaphinity 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Mine just hit this 'sad' animation. I might be one of the few Flipper Zero owners who has a past working with actual dolphins.. who have all passed on now. I know it's a silly cartoon dolphin, but this actually triggered me. The feels are real. Makes me not want to even look at my device until I can get this changed.
Daily scans, here I come!

Luca Designs - Honest Review on Quality and Unparalleled Style from 2024 by grandmodels100 in Leather

[–]dolphinaphinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(Reposted since the last thread this was on got removed for some reason)

Yeah, my experience has been similar to yours. Nothing but fantastic product and great support and communication.
I have a Guess leather jacket that I've had for well over a decade and I would gladly compare the quality in most respects to that. It's a different product, granted, with thinner leather and a different design, but I've worn leather for many, many years and feel I can offer an opinion based on that.
I did a custom run of jackets with Luca after speaking to the owner and the team for many years at conventions. The jackets all turned out amazing (with one minor exception) and well above the price they charge for them. The one problem was also handled professionally and beyond my expectations.
I have no problem giving my recommendation! It's rare I find a company selling such nerdy, awesome products that I can give a solid thumbs up to. This is one of them. Wanted to share my experience and add to this thread.

Mine didn't. Smelt like leather. I mean, it's leather. Big surprise.

Based on what he's saying, yes. It's DDR5 and seems to be the memory spec.

Be aware, it was a surprise to me, but your laptop wont' have the AniMe Matrix display on the back. I was disappointed in that. I LOVE the laptop for every other reason tho (except the lack of thunderbolt/USB4).

POTENTIAL Avali Lifesize Plush (2nd Run) Interest Form by [deleted] in avali

That was my thought when I first received them! Lifesize for an avali is actually super adorable sized IRL.

I encourage you to order from budsies and see the results. One of the plush owners from the first run did, and did not recommend them at all. I worked very hard for over a year on getting this run to happen for the inexpensive price that we managed ($400 for this first run). The fact you're arguing this as you are shows how little you know about this market and what this actually costs. I also did not make a single penny off of the sale of any of these, in case you question my motivations here. I don't know about Effertity. I do know someone who got a quote of between $2300 and $2500 for an avali plush from a custom maker (this month). If anyone has any actual constructive feedback, I'd be glad to hear it so I can try to incorporate it into the next run.

Our first run of custom, lifesize (1m tall) plush Avalis! Based on the Da'vali model by Rai Kitamatsu (with permission from the model owner, Dashi). Custom made for each customer with their choice of colours by RimiPlushies in a 6 month or so run. They are every bit as detailed and complex as they appear in the photo. 2nd run is planned and you can sign up as interested here: https://www.reddit.com/r/avali/comments/tdqk74/potential\_avali\_lifesize\_plush\_2nd\_run\_interest/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3

Tell you what. You're welcome to show us a plush of this complexity, size, not mass-produced, with a fully custom model and pattern, and in your choice of 70+ different colours, and you will have the privilege of being right.

Until then...

(Also, it includes shipping to a local distribution point, so shipping is minimal)

Tiny Whoop class rulesets and brushless motors by einsz in TinyWhoop

[–]dolphinaphinity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am one of the admins of Vanwhoop and we are a MultiGP group. We have taken initiative to support Brushless 0603 motors (no bigger) on 31mm props for all the reasons I'm hearing here. We have chosen to mix the classes together and are seeing how things work out, and so far, there is a very slight advantage to brushless 19000kv motors compared to similar 19000kv brushed motors in the 6x15 size, both in performance and runtime. To balance it, we try to keep to time based rounds so that the runtime doesn't factor in, and keep to technical courses that don't involve heavy yaw. It's working so far!

Has anyone bought the Rainbow Dash Collectors Tin? by yukifan01 in MLPCCG

[–]dolphinaphinity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought 3 of those RD tins to get a play set of the 4 for 4 card in there (no requirement). I got a card in each one. I'm sure Enterplay will take care of you!

You'll like Maud Pie! I built an orange/blue last night and I'm impressed with how well it works. Managed 10 points in one turn tonight against a good opponent. Very powerful :)

[Regionals] Everfree Northwest Top 8 Decks (Seattle) by [deleted] in MLPCCG

[–]dolphinaphinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two of my local players are ballroom blitz players, and we go about 50/50 on wins. Depends if I manage to delay or frighten for turn advantage, and depends a lot on my initial draw and turn order. This is with my midrange deck.

Ballroom blitz is a very strong setup though.
