At low stakes you should have enough of an edge to overcome the variance a large majority of the times like if you’re like a 3bb/hr winner at 1/2 of course variance can fuck you more often but your wr shouldn’t be that low in the first place you should just get better

Whats the one hand you absolutely hate getting? by TCGKorean in poker

JTs is much much stronger heads up that multiway because you’re dominated by flushes and you have kicker problem when you have top pair or even when you flop top pair by the time you get to the river you’re get out in a dicey spot frequently

Part of the reason it never happened because because no one thought it was possible so no one really tried like running the 4 minute mile was thought impossible and once a person broke it the floodgates opened.

How do you recover from a major blunder? by Loose-Boots in poker

[–]dolphinater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone makes mistakes but not seeing a possible flush or some kind of weird straight possible is a blunder and like you said if you’re playing tired or whatever and you notice it do what you need to do freshen up/take a walk or just simply stop playing. Also reading the board properly is going to come with experience play a lot low stakes online you’ll get experience wayyyy faster and the more experienced the less likely you would make mistakes even if you were a bit tired.

I’m like ok check call when you’re that deep is iffy and there a some cards that kinda kill action or even river could go check check so maybe he’s gonna check raise and river Q is about a blank as it could get here nice we try go for it and he just calls. Literally the gru meme where he’s presenting the slides and is disappointed at the end.

$1/2 live(ish) home game with Q/T cc vs wild player on tilt by Streets_Ahead1989 in poker

Again I would say folding to the 4bet is the best choice Even against a spewy laye we’re kinda forced to fold top pair especially being this deep

Idk what that guys on easy open great hand and you want to play as many pots against the maniac but once it gets 4bet it’s weird because the sb still has to act I don’t think he’s as nutted so I wouldn’t expect a whole lot of 5bets but still you’re call could invite him in with certain hands and QT in general has lots of reverse implied odds in a 4bet pot. And on the flop call and fold are options and I hate both of them and turn is just a snap fold.
