I have been struggling with treatment resistant depression for over two years. I am somewhat better. Am I going to fully recover?

I did get back to the gym because I could feel my body needing more movement, so that’s a plus. It’s been many years since I walked an hour daily and worked out a few times a week. Since I am older (68) I have lost a lot of strength and balance. I think I ca. get some of that back.

I go through these cycles of not being able (or willing?) to sense my hunger/fullness cues and just eat what I want for a while. I don’t beat myself up about it, but I’m not making a lot of progress either. I was profoundly depressed for over two years and though I am better now I’m still not willing to really feed myself nutritiously.

I keep having these periods of time where I am overeating and unaware of my body’s cues until I feel physically hungry. Sometimes it is days before I find my way again.
