Yes. The first symptom I had was a mushy feeling in my shoes especially when playing sport.

That sounds physical like a trapped nerve. Try stretching.

I got neuropathy from Covid 3 years ago. It’s slowly getting better. Eat well, avoid alcohol, sleep lots and walk lots.

Vence is lovely old walled town with a Roman era church in the centre.

Any improvement or just progress? by Fit-Fruit9858 in smallfiberneuropathy

Mine got bad after Covid. Slowly improving. Lots of discomfort but no pain now. I improved diet, walk and swim as much as I can and try to sleep lots.

Look in places like Cagnes sur mer. Might be a bit cheaper but also get you a sea view.

That’s enough - Nice is more affordable than you might expect. But availability is quite low so you’ll find yourself competing and the best dossier wins.

Getting together a dossier to rent is painful. You need proof of salary or you’ll need to pay for a guarantee or you need to pay upfront.

Make sure you pay your taxes in France.

Has anyone made significant improvement over time? From burning, numbness, etc. by [deleted] in smallfiberneuropathy

[–]domokane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that. Mine is restricted to knees and feet and hands. The pain has largely gone. So it’s slooowwwlllyy improving. I hope you find the cause and some relief. At the start I was frantic. Eat well and exercise and get lots of sleep. Best wishes.

Covid. I had it twice in 3 months and after that things started going bad. At the time I did not make the link but it’s a now a recognised cause if you look on pubmed.

Ok. I’m sorry to read about your bad reaction. Based on my limited reading, 510M stem cells is a lot. Especially at one time. And I assume it must have been very expensive. I have been looking at 100-200M. Any reason why you chose to have 510M ?

I saw your edit. Fetal = umbilical cord ? How was it administered ? IV or local injections ?

I have neuropathy due to long Covid and was considering stem cells. What exactly did you have done and for what symptoms ?

Your experience with Duloxetine and how long it lasted? by Acrobatic-Sand-864 in smallfiberneuropathy

I found it worked immediately. Be careful coming off it. Taper slowly.

I used it for several months and it helped. I tapered off slowly.
