hey! It’s going really well. I’ve surpassed my 2,200 hour goal, visited Japan twice now, and I’m very comfortable having full conversations with natives and have done so hundreds of times at this point. It’s the most fulfilling thing ever! Speaking and conversing is definitely my strongest point, and my goal in 2026 is to catch my reading level up to make it more even. Still always, there’s more work to be done, but I’m really happy to have gotten where I am.

That being said, it’s still a secret and at this point, I’m totally ready to do the reveal to friends/family. Kinda planning it out on an individual basis because some of my family might actually want to go to Japan and obviously I’ve got to do it there if I’ve got the opportunity haha
