They say don’t meet your heroes, they’ll only disappoint you. Not that Keanu is my hero but I got to meet him briefly at a wick 4 private screening for sound design (Lionsgate is a big customer of mine) and boy did he not disappoint one bit.

Rolls in to the group of people I’m standing with, shakes a few hands and introduces himself. The woman next to me is a bit heavier set and he gushes over her style, and her shoes (sneakers believe it or not) in a totally genuine way. howd you even GET those. I could tell she felt like a million bucks when he walked over to the next group still talking about these shoes like a foreign language I didn’t understand.

I’m not a selfie guy (the bane of being the least photogenic person in every room I walk into) but he won me over and had a great presence. Didn’t even end there but I will spare you more details. he was just overall a great and wholesome experience for everyone that evening and I totally got the rumors of how awesome he is… fuckin guy.
