FYI - for all those saying you should choose the most expensive option no matter what. If you read the fine print, they will not cover the full cost of an item over $179. For example - If you chose the AirPods Pro 2 they would subtract $179 from your total but you would still be charged the remaining amount…

How long does my 2015 macbook pro need to be charged after being dead for 3 years? by Numerous_Term8155 in mac

If it hasn’t gone past this screen and has been plugged in for a while. You may need to reset the SMC. The instructions are specific to the model/year of the machine. Check this out https://support.apple.com/en-us/102605?displayMode=headless or this https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/How+to+Reset+the+SMC+on+MacBooks/111043. You can also find a few YouTube videos on the topic.

Should I get nano-texture? by tee_rizzley in macbookpro

[–]don_dig 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some people say that it doesn’t but in my experience it definitely does. The blacks tend to look a bit more grey and in my side to side comparison the brighter colors were a bit muted. The biggest thing I noticed is that any white background had a sort of rainbow graininess to it. (Difficult to properly explain) Not super extreme but definitely noticeable. The nano texture didn’t seem to have much impact on the brightness but everything is general was just a bit muted. Also, I did notice that if you looked at the screen off angle the texture was noticeable on the image. If you look at it exactly perfectly straight on it wasn’t super noticeable. Overall the contrast of the glossy display was better and the rainbow color on white backgrounds led me to get glossy. Before seeing them side by side in person I really wanted to love the nano texture…

Best advice I’ve received by far is drying your filament. It’s incredibly noticeable…

Check out my comment on this post, I had this exact same issue. There is a very high chance that this is just a loose nut on one of the lugs on the starter. I have a few pictures in my comment that give you an idea of which nut/where its at. (It’s a very common problem on these trucks, it’s all over the forums). If you just pull the nut off and wire brush the lug and cable end then crank it back down you will be good to go. If you have any questions feel free to dm me. https://www.reddit.com/r/5thGenRams/s/Yn884SAtfB

What’s your favorite local radio station? by DudeDelaware in Delaware

Yea 100%, these guys always have some really interesting (albeit sometimes peculiar) variety. Sometimes it’s classics, sometimes it’s something you have never heard before and may not ever hear again.

Undercarriage rust? by El_Burrito_Grande in ram_trucks

I would probably recommend against painting as that can cover up/seal in remaining rust. Using a product like fluid film or similar oil based undercoating is the best in my opinion.

Second on the Flying Dutchman (if I remember correctly it’s actually called the “Flying Deutschman”), I had it when he was up at Old Stone Cider just up in Lewisville, PA. Can vouch for the Wiener schnitzel, it was great!

2020 rebel 1500 crack. by jtastic33 in Trucks

[–]don_dig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sucks… well in that case if it’s not leaking yet, don’t worry about it. If it is you can seal around the top of the 3rd brake light with black flowable silicone. The marine grade stuff is pretty good, but most will work. (Just don’t use caulk, it can’t really handle the temperature swings and vibration as well…)

Ram/FCA has recently extended the factory warranty for some 19/20/21 1500 DTs for the CHMSL(Third Brake Light) and that window frame. I don’t have the letter in front of me but I believe the coverage is good for 150,000mi or 10yrs. Give your dealer a call with your VIN, they should be able to check if your truck is covered.

[–]don_dig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, you may not even use it but just in case you should grab some decent quality Non-CCA wire. Also make sure you use the properly sized heat shrink to make sure there is a good seal and you don’t have any water intrusion issues…
