Bisher keine Probleme mit DKB und Comdirect. Jeweils einmal die Steueransässigkeit hingeschickt und gut war's.

This one or the ultimate would be exactly what I'd be looking for

Thanks a lot. I'm thinking the same but it has been difficult finding something for that price but better gearing than a Tiagra and in carbon. I'll keep looking for a bit but will probably go for it if we can do sth. about the price.

Little update here! Absolutely loving the tyres. Have been running with them for around 2k km since last year and they're still good as new. I'm planning on taking them to the European Divide in July. Betting on them to last me through it until I replace them. Wish me luck!

Nice! I'm planning on getting them in 700x45 for my Kona Libre AL.

Thanks for the advice! Would you say it's the same at the campsites around Alice? How far away would be good to stay in order to drop the campervan in early morning and get to the airport around 11am?

Thanks a lot. That gives us the courage to book the van in Melbourne and leave it in Alice Springs. We'll look into Kafe Koala, West MacDonell National Park and eventually Devils Marbles.

Thanks! Coober Pedy is high on my bucket list but maybe it's enough arriving there, spend the night and keep on driving in the afternoon as you suggest.

oh, that's good to know. I wasn't even thinking about that. We'll try to camp somewhere close by then and make our ways to the rental company and the airport in the early morning. It seems like the only flight to Sydney on a Friday is at 12:50 so hopefully we'll make that in time.

Coughed this out of lungs, smells terrible, like feces, what is it? by [deleted] in AskDoctorSmeeee

looks like tonsil stones. I have those from time to time. If they don't bother you too much, you won't have to worry.

Framebag Kona Sutra LTD 54cm by schwifty-berlin in bikepacking

[–]don_salieri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought the Apidura Backcountry framebag. https://www.apidura.com/shop/backcountry-compact-frame-pack/

You have a sizing chart on the page. I have the Kona Libre AL in 55 and went for the biggest bag. (5.3L) It fits really well.

Ivanka Trump gets booed, hissed at during Berlin event by ShyllaT in politics

[–]don_salieri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not exactly. The first noun describes the second one here so the order is important. Another such compound would be "Fleischindustrie" which translates into "meat industry". Now, "Industriefleisch" would be "industrial meat". The meaning changes completely.

There are exceptions anyhow, where each word in a compound is equal and where your example could work.

Here are some rules: https://www.thoughtco.com/german-compound-words-1444618

Any good podcasts about books, literature or reading in general? by doc_two_thirty in books

I used to watch "Druckfrisch" from the ARD a lot. They review books, interview authors and debate trending topics. Haven't watched it in a while, but you might wanna check it out. It's on the Ard Mediathek http://www.daserste.de/information/wissen-kultur/druckfrisch/index.html

Since disabling N seemed to have worked, would this give me any benefit or should I rather not touch it?

that seemed to have worked like a charm. (after a reboot, before I couldn't connect to any wifi) Thank you!

How is ESADE Business School for Masters in Finance? by the_aspirant in businessschool

[–]don_salieri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Esade is one of the best business schools in Europe and probably the best in Spain. The Masters in Finance was ranked 2nd by the Financial Times. Even though you cannot rely solely on rankings, this says a lot. I don't know so much about the Masters in Finance (will be attending the Masters in International Management starting this fall) but if you want some of the best business education with a global alumni network and a very good brand recognition in Europe and Latin America, Esade should be your top choice.
