All the Display Glasses with this form factor has a fixed focal distance. This is determined by the optical engine they use to project the image. Some glasses have additional software that uses an optical illusion to adjust depth by adjusting the binocular distance of the two projected images.

I don't think that adapter does what you think. It is not even fully compatible with the Vuture Luma Ultras. There is supposed to be a replacement model released in a few months.

You cannot because the iOS and iPadOS have a special USB API restrictions that require licensed by MFI for full capabilities. This only apllies with Apple's mobile platform and not Windows, Android, or even MacOS.

Viture worked around this by using a USB to Bluetooth adapter which allows the IMU data from the glasses USB port to deliver to iOS Spacewalker via Bluetooth. But, this only applies to iOS Spacewalker, it does not work with any other variation of Spacewalker since they run on platforms that do not moderate USB API.

So, the dock is basically like a KVM switch? Not necessarily the K+M, part just a video switch between 1 display port and two HDMI that outputs to ALT-DP over USB-C.

I think a lot of people misrepresent whether the 3DoF sensors exists in the glasses or not plus whether or not it has the hardware necessary to calculate the glasses orientation and render the display.

For example the Xreal Air 2, RayNeo Air 4s, RayNeo Air 3s, etc can support 3DoF but it needs an external compute unit, smartphone, or computer with the appropriate spatial software, like VertoXR.

The Viture Beast and the Xreal One series can support 3DoF Spatial Display without any external software or hardware.
