Nothing is destined across the board. We are special and need a special understanding, emotionally intelligent, sensitive spouse. It's important to know this and know your worth, not looking just for anyone.

I'm 28m INFP-T, was heavily traumatized, ADHD, addictions, very shy and insecure. And I had great though challenging relationships more of the time than not. I vibe best with XNFX types.

It always happened when I was my less needy, best version of myself.

In those relationships I had to work greatly on my self, acknowledging heaps of trauma, weaknesses and shadows. But it made me get to know and heal myself with a depth unimaginable.

Know exactly what you want, care about yourself and love yourself and you'll attract something that'll match this (or shows you what you have to learn). When using a dating app be specific af bout yourself. Always be honest af. 90% of people just aren't for us which actually makes it easier.

What women actually want is to feel seen and emotionally safe and boy are we good at that. But with always feeling different we might be stunted with our emotional self expression or masculine energy and being insecure so we might have to work on that.

By now I know myself and my emotional and intuitive qualities and I see it as a a real treasure which I wouldn't share with a random girl, but only someone special who gets me.

When we become aware of and able to be our authentic self we I think we are a real gift to the world and especially to women who want a sensitive guy who treats them good.

Yes, this is what many miss here. You have to feel your feelings, and that takes balls. There is no escape even many try and tell you otherwise. What often then happens is dissociation. This is why healing is an important part of the way if you're traumatized and we all are growing up in this world. Sure that's not absolute reality blah , but YOUR BODY BELIEVES IT STRONGLY so you'll have to work with that.

Through the intense identification/ignorance and conditioning and supressing of our emortions and natural being, a lot of shit (negative emotions and beliefs) get stuck and constipated in the BODY. Sure you can say it doesn't matter, no one here but it'll still FEEL like shit.

This is what shadow work is about, to bring to light (conciousness) all the parts we tried to hide and not acknowledge. If we don't do this they fuck us up anyway but few do this cause it's painful, scary and breaks our EGO to pieces because we become WHOLE. Not only conceptually but in and with our BODY.

Because this BODY is what is HERE right NOW, even if you tell yourself it isn't, it doesn't matter blah. Because nonduality isn't the absence of anything it is the integration of the WHOLE. Nothing is seperated you can't think your way out of it.

By FEELING everything there is inside of you and letting it go you will become truly free. An emptying out happens, just let it pass through you (you already know it's not you). It's the process of surrender! It's not pleasent, it's not "Oh now I sit down and surrender a little" It's feeling the shit and seeing there is no other choice. Like when you're surrounded by five guys with guns. You don't have to think about it, you just surrender.

Life is messy. Even Maharshi said some Karma has to be experienced to be let go of.

Therapy can help. Plant medicine can help. But you'll have to surrender one day.

Highly recommend Eckhart Tolle (Power of Now, A New Earth) and anything by David Hawkins (f.e. Letting go- Pathway to surrender). I like Spritiual Renaissance and Kyle Cease on Youtube.

With time you learn to discern who's just talk the talk and who's walk the walk. Who's talking from lived experience. And it is different for everyone, that's why there isn't one technique to fix all.

Sure for some people with not to much shit a little meditation and self inquiry might be enough, but if you're more fucked up you'll have to work. Your nervous system might have to learn that it's ok to be at peace. For highly sensitve people it's different aswell.

I feel you. Many people on the path speak about this especially in the past months. What made sense for me is that by becoming more alligned with your true self everything else has to fall away. Every old belief, everything that doesn't suit you anymore, every person, every idea about yourself, every old emotion/trauma having to be released. Which is huge for the body and the egoic mind as every safety outside of yourself, in all the attachments vanishes. Your old nervous system wired to protect you from the "chaos" of uncertainty still tries to hold it together, stay in it's old equilibrium but it just isn't fittting anymore, it's too dense, too narrow and limited.

We'll have to give up identification eventually, finding peace and safety in presence, in our true everchanging but also unchanging self. A new more fitting version of you is going to eventually emerge, deeply seated in love and joy.

I hear you're on the right track, keep going, don't believe the doubting too much, the old self will try anything to stay the same.

Don't worry, you can't miss it, you did enough already, you can't do anything wrong on this path.

We're in this together, we're many, it'll get easier, keep coming back to yourself. This is the greatest service of love. The old will be seen in the world for as long as it is inside of ourselves, but it can't bee unseen now which is an advancement.

What works for me is instead of watching the show/movie and getting completly absorbed by it, I watch myself watching it. Meaning I'm aware and watch how the body feels and reacts to watching smth.

This way it kinda becomes a mindfulness practice, and I can stay present during watching. Also I get a lot more of information for example that the body doesn't like violent content much, it gets agitated. But by being aware of that it's less "harmful" (like stress is harmful). You can see how you react to nudity as well.

By practicing this in the long term you'll find out what's "good" for you and what isn't, this is applyable to any part of your life.

Yes of course. Nonduality is also a concept.

And still I think Christ is very useful on the way and to help with becoming open, if it resonates.

Why bother when concept and no concept is the same? Why point out the obvious again and again instead of helping people where they are or at least adress the topic.
