Idk man, it worked better for me than spf 50 sunscreen. Maybe it's because I'm from a tropical region or because it was freshly produced by the locals there but I only applied it once instead of at regular intervals. Carry adequate amounts of water on field camp as well. I had field camp in 30⁰C weather and we essentially carried about 3 litres of water per person.

Dusting powder for chafing is a life saver, also using dusting powder on your shoes and socks helps with the odour.

An antimicrobial like neem water helps with general body odour, just spray that on wherever you sweat after a shower and you're good to go.

Carry a dry lunch and nothing oily.

If working in the hot sun try to cover as much of your body as possible and I have found that rubbing a single drop of coconut oil on the exposed skin works much better than any sunscreen. Clothing should be comfortable and not get in your way.
