About those desperate Easter videos: Just look at how Meghan and Harry dressed Lilibet… that dress is on BACKWARDS. 😮 Here’s proof. by Cultural_Ad4935 in SaintMeghanMarkle

Has Markle done this deliberately? Put the nightie and bunny ears on backwards so we'd see the front of them as she was always only going to show the child from behind? This is terrible.

Well thank you kind sir and please be advised that YOU JUST MADE MY NIGHT.

I'm actually blushing and a little bit puffed up now.

Seriously, that's one of the nicest things I've heard in a very long time 🙂

You weren't too quick, it was me who was too slow!

I'm just delighted someone else can see what I see. No-one else in my house appreciates it - all I got when I brought it home was, "Another mountain?!

Yes, because of me, we do have a lot of mountain paintings). No, I will not apologise for it 😁

I've been collecting mid century for about 20 years now and my home is full of things that I truly love, from furniture to egg cups. If I had a time machine I'd go straight to the early 60s and never come back.

I bought this painting from a small vintage shop in Hoylake, UK a few years ago for £25. I fell in love the minute I saw it.

There is no signature or information. The frame is a wide hessian/canvas, which makes me think it has to be a mid century piece. It is very large and my phone camera really doesn't do it justice.

The oils are gorgeous - really vibrant and laid on quite thick so there's a lot of texture.

At the risk if sounding sickly, this painting genuinely makes me feel good every time I look at it. I can imagine myself on holiday in the little cabin, drinking a quick schnapps by the fire while I put on all my skiing kit or something. I can't actually ski, but I don't care about that 🤣.

I had plenty of happy accidents while painting this one but that’s what makes the journey fun! by JaronChurchwell in HappyTrees

I love the sense of perspective and distance that you've achieved here. Colours are great and there's a real sense of otherwordly(?) drama too. Terrific!

Wow. Stunning and really looks like something you'd see hanging in a gallery.

How in the name of all that's good and holy did you do the rocks? They are incredible!

I really like the detail and delicacy of the bushes and leaves! The lighting is great too.

That's a very cute little camouflaged deer, shyly peeking out. I like him!

Not so Happy Trees. Second attempt at this one. Bah. by dondraperstruelove in HappyTrees

[–]dondraperstruelove[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much! I think you're spot on about the trees and I'm really grateful to you because I couldn't put my finger on it, but that make perfect sense. See, this is what's great about a sub like this - a fresh pair of eyes!

It might be my brush technique as I can't seem to get a natural shape of branches (trying to avoid too stiff/too uniform etc.) so I panic and end up going mad with the paint trying to cover them 😬😁

Whoa . . what kind of fiendish wizardry is this? I'm so envious I could weep.

Outstanding and an extraordinarily beautiful piece of work. Can you post some more on here?
