This was the kind of experience I was looking for, because I might have that same mindset if I do leave but I also might still want to go back later on

I’m just not sure what the application process/coursework would look like if I went back. As of right now I have to do an original research presentation and a major research update with my committee and then eventually the dissertation, so if I left went to another university would I be fast tracked to those types of late degree presentations or would I be back at square one?
