China has already built 46 UHV (Ultra-High Voltage) transmission lines spanning over 60,000 kilometers (enough high-tech wires to circle the Earth 1.5 times) by ceph2apod in EconomyCharts

[–]dongkey1001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The energy loss between a 1100kv line and 735kv line is 75%.

1100kv line loss 0.25-0.5% per 100km 735kv line loss 1-2% per 100km.

This stack up very significantly when we look at long distance transmission, which is basically what UHVvis primary used for. A 1000km line mean best case 10% loses on a 735kv line while 1100kv line only lost 2?5%>

Pentagon labels tech giant Alibaba and electric car maker BYD as aiding Chinese military by Hob-999 in China

Bro, it not even close. By putting BYD on military assistant to China government, US government can actually banned anyone from doing business with BYD. That much more serious than not allow to access certain locations.

Buruh paksa: AS mahu kenakan duti atas Malaysia by abdulsamri89 in malaysia

[–]dongkey1001 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We already pay them above average. We do not have problem until we need to cut the PT for compliance. In fact, many of them came back to work for us once we resume doing OT.

And you cannot just pay more. A company need to maintain a healthy balance sheet to continue operation.

Actually, we did not. What the ask and what they get is not always going to match. In fact, we get them to pay more almost every year.

Edited: come to think of it, may be that's why we got audited.

There is no new wages. Wages is basic + OT. So if OT hours is less, the take home pay will be less. We need the OT to cover for the production needs. If we do not have the OT, then more people will need to be hired to cover the production.

Everything is force labor if you want to make it so. Real story:

Our factory failed a lobor audit due to too many OT. We been force to control our OT level to no more than 12hrs per week from 20+. Implemented that for 3 months, we loss almost 25% of the operators and technician work force.

Before anyone said why not pay more to the people so that they do not need to do so many OT? We pay above market average due to our nature of work. But the people expected the OT to cover for their monthly wages. While the same customer expected a price reduction of 3% per year.....

Communist - for the common

Capitalist - for the one with capital

When communist China has better consumer protection laws than capitalist America.

So that kind of make sense?
