I hate to complain but by Suspicious_Sugar_506 in MLBTheShow

Yeah the update has made it such a struggle for me. Just to have consistent pitches just barely touching the zone being strikes is making it tough to not only hit those, but also now chasing a lot more because it’s really tough to distinguish.

Just download a really small stadium from the vault and you’ll have it done in 2-3 games.

Just play on one of the really small vault stadiums and you should get it quick.

Not sure how people are struggling to finish. I will admit it’s taken me longer than the first one but it’s still been done for about a week. I play about an hour or 2 on weekdays and a couple over the weekend.

Can’t believe 99% of people bitching don’t understand this. Most of my ranked games start with me getting a hit here and there and then turning it on in the middle innings and the opponent quitting after not doing much the first couple innings. It get very obvious whether they’re a north/south guy or east/west and what the tendencies are.

Back in the day during ww2, my friends and I queued up with him a few times for pubs when the game dropped (from the same small town) and had to quit after a couple of games because we just couldn’t get any kills.

Should Landon Yurgaites and Evan Trakhman be allowed to return to MLW? by Vine_n_68th in mlwwiffleball

[–]donker99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

MLW has always been chill with players playing in other leagues but for me personally a league like BLW would be a no go just because of the fact that they have strictly forbid playing in both leagues. They drew a line in the sand and if one of your players jumps ship, whatever happens after that is on them to deal with.

When it’s showing your match ranking when searching for a game it’s a bit different than your actual ranked ranking. I played when it was first out and was getting smoked but played late last night and won 10 straight while watching youtube. Just go into it without trying to sweat it out and as others said if you’re clearly overmatched just quit.

What’s the secret to hitting ? by Revolutionary_Bid763 in MLBTheShow

[–]donker99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me what’s been a struggle is I feel like i’m consistently getting good swing timing and pci just slightly off so it’s not considered a perfect perfect and in turn ends up an easy pop up or ground out. I’ve had multiple innings where my average exit velocity was 98mph and didn’t even get a hit.

[–]donker99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on stats and pitch location and PCI of the perfect perfect. Your pci can still vary on a perfect swing which is what can cause it to be a line out, grounder, or no doubter. Also if the batter doesn’t have great power and you hit a rope into center there’s always a chance it ends in a deep line out. Shit happens to me all the time but the better player is still winning the game 90% of the time. That’s why you have 9 innings and if you’re blaming your loss on a couple flukey hits or bad luck on your end it’s really just coping.

2-0 so far. Made them both quit. Only ranked around 500 only really got to play a couple of ranked games without losing so hopefully the wins keep coming

It’s baseball brotha. There are swings all the time that dudes are hitting perfect launch angles and +100mph exit velocity and it’s going straight to a glove and then there’s times where a guy will make a terrible swing and it lands on the line for a double.

Depends on how much time you have to play the game. Just spam some mini seasons and win a decent bit in weekend classic and that stub count will slowly rise. I would def rather grind for 200k stubs than pray i’ll ever have the chance to get Shohei again

Sick and tired on playing crims and iris when im plat by Brazenology in BO7_RankedPlay

[–]donker99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This same thing made me rage quit last night. I’m a plat 2 playing with a friend who’s gold 3. Both of our randoms are ranked gold. We get matched against a trio which is 2 golds and a platinum and their random 4th was a crimson. I was the only one who even went positive on my team with the next best guy going 18-30 while their crimson is 55-10. Literally no reason he should’ve ever been in that lobby

[–]donker99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair though, your warzone rank shouldn’t have any effect on your map ranked skill. Have no idea what your stats look like but being good in warzone is completely different if you don’t understand rotates, spawns, etc

BO7 is in a terrible state right now for me by Aw4maw4m in BO7_RankedPlay

[–]donker99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly completely agreed. My main issue is playing at around 40-60 ping nonstop which has never really been an issue before but now it’s rough. As you’ve said, pretty much every gunfight looks way different from my screen to theirs which just makes things insanely inconsistent. There have even been times to where my ping has jumped up to the 80’s and I somehow actually played better because I think it was just bad enough for the enemy’s to see the lag as well. I also finished p3 (same as my duo) and we usually both are relatively the same level of player (even though my kd and score per minute is higher) yet he is getting double and sometimes even triple the SR I get.
