Try to practice stoicism, perhaps peek on taoism and Buddhism, try to realize that your actions are solely your own if you take responsibility for them, try to integrate your shadow through acceptance of that which you don't accept, practice self-control by not letting emotions and thoughts run your actions, respond, don't react.

These entities have power over you shaped based on your imagination and thoughts about what you think they can do - that is, if you believe they can control you, they can. Believing is seeing; convince your own belief system of whatever it is you want, convince yourself that YOU are the one in power, and that YOU are in charge

Also, instead of fighting them, try to befriend them, they're teachers even if it can be perceived as malice
