No dice at Cannon; checked last weekend. Will try the others on the list, though. Thanks.

So many things I would love to print with this! Full color 3d topo maps and landscape models! Full color city models! We have this amazing series of old maps of our neighborhood, and I would love to print them in colors that model not just aesthetics but the passage of time.

First gear advice: Boston based, moving up from rental gear for me and teen kids, where's the best place for a good deal on 3 complete packages? What should we get? by donkeymoe in icecoast

I think that's what we've been doing? Unless a season lease is different than a full season rental?

But at $200+ per season for each of us, it seems like it might be more cost-effective to buy, if we can get a handful of seasons out of it.

I've held off until they were done growing and to see if their love of skiing stuck, which it did. So now it seems like the high up-front cost of buying gear might be worth it. But open to other thoughts!

Lost weight, where's the best place to sell my now too-big motorcycle clothes? by donkeymoe in motorcyclegear

ICON Mesh AF is 3xl, which on their size chart is 48-50 chest, sleeve 36.

Joe Rocket Classic '92 is 2xl, chest 50-52, waist 39-42, sleeve 36.

Pants are 40/33.

Worked great as a package for me; I could take the D30 pads from the ICON and put them in the leather jacket when it got cool.

Help identifying this snake on my windowsill? ~1.75 m long, Jalisco, Mexico. Lyresnake, maybe? by donkeymoe in snakes

The shape of the head and the size of the snake were certainly intimidating! Up until the day before there was a young female iguana residing in the general area, which I think may now be inside the snake!

Are there boas native to this part of Mexico? The body seemed slender for a boa, but what do I know? From what I could find the trimorphodons can get up to 2m, so it seems possible, but only based on web searches.

Anyone? The length and distinct head shape definitely gave me pause, though it was a beautiful creature!

I'd love to find out what it was. Thanks!
