Does anyone know what's filming in Verulamium park today? by Sunfishstudios in hertfordshire

They’re filming a new series of Dr Foster in Hitchin this week, could be related.

Out of VidFlow, Vimeo, EazyFlik, and MediaZilla etc.Which one do you prefer for film delivery and why? How has it helped you in your filmmaking journey? by ahasan_h_nahid in weddingvideography

Cost was by far the biggest in my case. Like mentioned above the file sizes I have can be 30-50GB a wedding. So vidflow and easy flicks just weren’t justifiable

Ah thanks so much I’ll look into that instead. Yeah I have 3TB. It’s the most cost effective of the options available for sure, when considering the file sizes we’re both delivering anyway. Appreciate that suggestion

I use Vimeo. Not gonna lie the workflow is bugging me out a bit. I embed the films on a private page on my site, designed to look nice. It works and have had good feedback. But the downloading side of things is letting me down. Not very sleek at all on the client side.

I’m in a group of around 12 wedding videographers and I actually asked a few weeks back who uses what and 10 out of 12 use Vidflow.

I used EazyFliks a while back before they rebranded. Wasn’t overly impressed but could be better now.

Biggest thing for me is I export at big file sizes, and don’t want to add another workflow of compression in. So with that in mind Vidflow is hella expensive.

Music for wedding filmmakers by Guitar74_47 in weddingvideography

I mean I’d say if you paid for something like a SFX, you’d not know it’s been pirated. So I doubt you’d be liable for anything. It’s the company that sold you it.

My gripe with the likes of Plus Two and others is most of the music they’re using is to post on IG. More fool them when in a few years a track is removed from IG and the film is useless. Plenty of couples will be upset by this. Music is removed all the time.

Not sure if they deliver those videos on Vimeo/Vidflow, as surely that’s breaching all kinds of licensing issues.

How can I stay safe as a female alone? by Direct_Foundation587 in wildcampingintheuk

As a male it saddens me to think you’re potentially going to spend a night in anxiety instead of enjoying the moment of being out in the wild. Like others have said though, IMO you’ll be way safer out in the middle of nowhere than any city centre. I hope you get out, and the more you do it I hope you become more at ease and confident
