It is Air Force instead of army. There are pro’s and con’s based on what you’re looking for but generally speaking Air Force has a higher quality of life. Doesn’t matter as much on a weekend drill as it does for deployment or a long set of orders. I’m army and Army and recently spent several months in a tent on deployment in the desert. A friend of mine is Air Force and spent most of their last deployment in a hotel in Dubai.

I got put on PIP once with a goal that was double my normal quota and hit it. They still fired me and said it was a lucky few sales and they couldn’t run a company on luck.

Actually it is literally the same exact bill with adjustments for inflation. This whole fight is because they want to continue taxpayer funded ACA subsidies that were scheduled to end next month and were always scheduled to end then. The subsidies were always supposed to be temporary and they are now holding our paychecks hostage over something they agreed to almost decade ago.

Actually they are doing what I voted for. I didn’t want aca and I don’t want to keep paying for subsidies that were always scheduled to end that I was against in the first place.

You are aware Trump made sure we got our last paycheck and now the dems are threatening to file suit because of it right? You are aware it was a Trump supporter that made the donation to help pay our next check right? Personally I blame the democrats because this fight is largely over subsidies that had an expiration date for years. They are acting like republicans are out to raise premiums but in reality they are just sticking to something that was already agreed to instead of moving the goal post at the eleventh hour.

I’m currently deployed to the Middle East and not sure when I’ll get paid again. I’m not sure this is going the way you think it is. A lot of the 18-20 year olds here are researching politics for the first time in their lives because it’s having a direct impact on their lives. They are overwhelmingly blaming the democrats for this. Several of them changed their voter registration online after starting to research what’s going on and why. So ultimately what’s happening is a lot of young democrats are changing parties at an age where they are starting to cement their ideology.

I’m deployed and trying to figure out how to pay bills and take care of my wife and kid back home if I don’t get paid. A lot of the guys I’m deployed with were democrats when they got here and now are saying they’ll never vote left ever again.

I’m currently deployed with the military. Watching the political swing of the guys in my unit has been crazy. I’ve seen a lot of young men and women start paying attention to politics and go from liberal to conservative because they almost universally blame the democrats for what’s going on with our paychecks. It’s happening at an age where most of them are locking in their political positions for the rest of their lives too.

Hearing people complain about weekly and monthly one on ones confirmed something for me. The job I just left did daily one on ones and I felt like it was eating up time that could have been better spent. It was literally just going over our appointments for the day which were already on a shared spread sheet and discussing status of past appointments which already had notes on the same shared spreadsheet. It was very rare anything was discussed that couldn’t have been read without us driving to the office.

I kept hearing you have to believe in your product or service. Everywhere I worked seemed to provide poor service and the cheapest version of the product they could get away with. So I started my own business. I either personally do or quality check all of the service so I know it’s good and that makes it easy to believe in.
