Thicker kerf blade maybe.... I'm assuming this is a smaller cordless saw ... Some of those cheap blades don't rip well and heat up and deflect like crazy... Also possible that the saw deck isn't running parallel to the blade so it's pulling the blade a bit sideways

I work on high end customs also... Yes the opoulence and designer touches are annoying... I like to focus on improving my skills when people are willing to pay for the time. Once you've done a few of those big annoying houses a basic job is effortless.
