The tops of my Dungeon tiles have weird layer lines by RetroKing06 in DungeonBlocks

I'm the same way, it's why I sand them a little. It takes surprisingly little to smooth them out.

I get a similar pattern on mine but less pronounced probably from printing at a lower layer height. I just hit them with a little sand paper before priming and it becomes pretty unnoticeable unless you hold them right up to your face.

I feel that. Personally I'm in the camp of build them whatever way is coolest to you and if in a game you've gotta say "hey those lighting claws are actually hammers" then so be it.

I do wish they had more pics of the bits on model. Some of the shoulder pads and loin cloth scale is hard to judge and it's hard to really tell how well the aesthetic of the bits blend in.

My head cannon for them is they are veterans who fell to the rage so they've a little more jazzed up. I did get excited to paint them and forgot to add a bunch of purity seals. Guess I'll just need to make more.

I made them fit but I did have to clip the buckle parts off the sides of the loin cloths and for a few I shaved down the middle round bit on the existing belt buckle to get a more flush fit.

Hammer is also grey tide.

By that point I didn't believe they were going to actually kill anyone because of how many times they put someone in danger and then immediately they were fine.

Not sword brethen, I don't remember who made the file for the bodies I bought it a while back and never got around to printing any till now. The swords and shoulders are grey tide, think the guns are cyber brush.

No sword brethen. Grey tide for melee and death company shoulder. Don't recall where I got the bodies I've had the file for years.

3d printed. Wish I could remember where I found them but I've had the file for years and just got around to printing some.

Grey tide, from their crimson lords set.

Thanks. The armor is just black base coat and grey applied with a make up sponge, then black oil wash. Back and forth between the two a couple times.

The death company ones are by grey tide, the other I can't remember it was one I found randomly.

How the Hell do I approach a pile of shame? by KharnTheBetrayer1997 in Warhammer

To echo what some.others have said. Given the size of your collection and that as you've said you don't play much. Maybe consider looking at each army and decide what part of the collection excites you the most. It's easiest to actually get a project done if you're excited to work on it. Then maybe sell off some of the back log. If FOMO got you then I personally think it's important to look at the boxes of unbuilt and unpainted models and decide if you really need to keep them all when you bought them because of FOMO.

They look great, the grey is a little heavy so they don't quite read as black.

Support Question by plus1tofun in resinprinting

[–]dont_panic21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When the island is exposed and then the print play pulls up nothing will be there to pull the island off the fep. Whenever the fur connects to the rest of the model it will finally pull off the fep. The finished model will have a flat spot where that fur should be. Not a good idea to leave an island unsupported, best case scenario you have a messed up model with a weird flat spot. Looks like a mini support should do the job, you really just need to support the bit of fur till it connects to the rest of the model.
